Step-by-step guide to connect Factory with your Notion docs, databases, and wikis.
This guide will walk you through the process of integrating Factory with Notion, enabling you to leverage Notion Docs in your Factory development experience.

Integration Steps
Access Factory Platform
Log in to your Factory account and navigate to Settings > Integrations section.
Initiate Notion Integration
Click on “Connect” next to Notion to start the integration process.
Login to your Notion Account or select the appropriate account.
Provide Factory access to your Notion Account.
Select the Notion Files and Folders you want exposed to Factory
Select the specific folders and files that you want integrated into Factory. Be sure to select any folders that might be at all relevant to workflows and tasks executed in Factory.
Incorporate Notion into your workflows
Use the @ to tag relevant docs or simply copy and paste the Notion doc URL to add to context.
Export generated Fragments to Notion
Use the Export to Notion to export Factory generated docs to Notion.
Verification
After configuration, verify that the integration status shows as “Connected” in your Factory dashboard.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during integration:

Ensure you have provisioned full access for Notion in Factory

If provisioned but not resolved, please disconnect and reconnect Notion from the Integrations panel in the Settings tab. For persistent problems, contact Factory support with specific error messages or screenshots.
