Enterprise users have the option to authenticate with their personal Identity Provider (IdP). Factory offers integration with any IdP (Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD, etc.) through both SAML and OIDC protocols.

Prerequisites

Before setting up SSO, ensure you have:
  • Admin access to your company’s IdP
  • The email address of your IdP system manager

Setup Process

Notify Factory

Contact your Factory representative to initiate the SSO setup process.

Receive Setup Email

The IdP system manager will receive an email with setup instructions.

Choose IdP Provider

Select your IdP provider from the options provided in the setup email.

Follow Integration Steps

Complete the integration steps as outlined for your specific IdP. This process typically takes 5-10 minutes.

Test the Connection

Once integration is complete, test the IdP to Factory connection using the provided tools.

If you encounter any errors during the testing phase:
  1. Double-check that all entered fields strictly match the on-screen instructions.
  2. Follow any fix recommendations provided in the error message.
  3. If issues persist, note the error information and contact Factory support.
